Hey Dark Horse! Let me draw an EWOKS comic for you!
It would totally be a 6-issue mini series taking place right before Jedi. The Empire has landed and the Ewoks are trying to figure out what’s going on, especially after the Empire takes out most of their rivals, the aggressive Duloks. The Ewoks have been protecting their territory with guerilla tactics, fading back into the shadows after silently picking off Stormtroopers one by one. Wicket is impetuous and his friends Teebo and Paploo are rising in the ranks to be promising warriors, leaving him behind. But things change when Wicket brings a stranger into Bright Tree Village, the beautiful princess Leia.
I’ve always loved the Ewoks, and I don’t care who knows it. The lineup here includes Ewoks from Return of the Jedi, the cartoon series, and the two TV movies. On some of the characters, I sort of split the difference between their various incarnations. In doing a bit of research (Thanks, Wookiepedia) I was actually surprised how much continuity there is amongst the Ewoks and their appearances in all the books, toys, comics, etc.
